Help getting KT air conditioning device working

I've got a KT air conditioning device, and in theory it should work with this plugin, but I'm not the most technical person. I'm hoping someone might be able to help me figure out what's going on.

Firstly, I've switched the device into DP Instruction mode on Tuya Smart.

and I'm getting this error message when starting up:

Problem 1
But it's returning the error message

From looking at the logs,
0 = Auto? (not supported, see below)
1 = heat? (not supported, see below)
2 = drying/dehumidification
3 = cooling/ac
4 = fan only

*but that isn't supported on the AC unit (Qlima 528)

Problem 2
I'm not sure the device returns current temperature. The current config always returns 55° Fahrenheit, despite having the onGet/onSet math applied. The wind switch doesn't appear to turn up in the settings in homebridge.
