When Starting Scan in the Processes Tab Legion Shows "Missing Data" for Every Column Then Crashes on Kali 2024.3 #261

me too same error |
At least I'm not alone, I wish VANGUARD would say something.. Only thing I know is to wipe Legion from the Kali VM but I don't know how hard that'll be along reinstalling it, I know installing Legion on ParrotOS was BITCH. |
I was using kali vm too, tried the vdi got error, switch to iso, and it worked for me. |
Wait what do ya mean "switch to iso" explainnn. I am using the normal full version of Kali I believe not the VM version. I'm tempted to nuke the whole VM and start a fresh one at this point. |
I a also facing the same issue |
So update. I installed AN ENTIRELY FRESH KALI. It was even Kali Purple since I never checked it out, pretty neat if a lil bloated. It doesn't come with legion, so I go to install it, everything installs fine, dependencies and all that. I start Legion, and I get the SAME ERROR on a fresh install of both Kali Purple and Legion so it's for suuuuure something broken with the program itself. |
I do have a solution for this that will be coming in the first release on the new repo very soon. |
Awesomeee! I hope so this is so frustrating, especially when it happens on a fresh OS with a newly installed Legion. |
I experience same problem in LEGION 0.4.3-1700529501 using nmap version 7.94SVN Brand new default installation of kali. |
I've never had an issue before with Legion, I used it extensively for a while besides the odd crash after intense scanning. However now when I try to scan ANY target, it shows "Missing Data" in every column in the job/task list below before crashing. Below I'll post screenshots of what happens when I try to scan a target. This is a new issue, I haven't changed configs or anything of the sort, I've simply been updating Kali like normal.
