Improve kafka trigger function throughput during high laiod

We are using Kafka trigger azure function. During high load times at the on prem kafka, we are facing some lag from the consumer ( kafka trigger function).

we have already tried the concurrency and other performance best practices as mentioned in the above article but we still have a lag in throughput, is there anything that we can do for high load scenarios, anything that we could have missed from your article?

1. The number of the partitions

22 partitions.

2. single mode or batch mode?

We are using batch mode.

3. Kafka extension version?
   Kafka 3.2.1.0

I recommend to analyze the bottle neck. Go to your Function App, then got Diagnose and solve problems > Availability and Preformance, you will see the several useful analysis.
