  • Pick off beam and use photodiode + scope to determine laser power. Students could even generate the calibration table. This will streamline imaging.
  • Ground amp.
  • Have the main frame and periscope already built
  • Pre-assemble the beam expander. Students just add lenses and align. More info on alignment in handout.
  • Figure out the best collection path design for each PMT and objective combination. Ensure the correct lenses are available for this.
  • Decide if we can use the 16x, given the large back aperture. Should we use the 60x NA=1.0, WD 2.5 mm instead? It has a tiny back aperture and should yield really nice images, even if FOV is small.
  • Measure FOV with 16x, 40x, and 60x
