Issue

It appears that the resulting output video is either not being compressed, or is having issues with recompression such that it isn't able to fully compress the video format.

My investigation

Reviewing the frames, it appears they came to about 36Gb, though this did include the original frames, but that still suggests a reduction in size to about a 3rd, though this still seems extremely large.

I suspect the issue maybe artefact's between frames due to upscaling resulting in poor compression, though I'm not super familiar with the intracacies of either superscaling nor mp4 so this is just a rough guess on my limited knowledge

Hi my friend,

if you are talking about upscaled video quality, I think the problem is that you selected AI Interpolation=High

The Medium or High setting should be reserved for starting video already in good condition, as far as I can see your starting video is 320x240 in resolution, so not a very good quality.

You can try using AI Interpolation=Low or Disabled
