when i fix ReferenceError: primordials is not defined error, it work for my.

running npx npm-force-resolutions and then run npm install solves my problem.

I've no idea why GitHub search pops up this repo as the first search result for "cross browser extension boilerplate" and "Updated on May 2", but what you probably want for cross-platform is extension.js.
