It's a weird one but I'm sharing so that you know it exists :).
Basically, I use the terminal mutt email client and in general "hackers" use it just to send their plain text emails, which in general are not friendly to HTML based clients. I've then created an awesome setup that converts what I write in markdown in vim to both text and html emails for sending. The only thing I'm lacking is a nice stylesheet for the HTML version of the email. It's more for conversation. In general I can only find responsive email stuff with marketing purposes.
