Limit event reminder to only one android device?

There is one CALDAV calendar, hosted on a nextcloude instance and loaded via DAVx5 in etar app on an android device, owned by person A.

There is person B who has an own android device, also displaying that calendar via DAVx5.

Some events in this calendar have a reminder set.

The aim is to display that reminder via android notifications on device of person A, but NOT on device of person B.

Is this possible?

(Turning off etar notification feature on device B is NOT a solution, because person B uses other CALDAV calendars in its etar app where notifications are also needed.)

So what about an additional setting for EACH calendar in the etar app whether reminders are displayed on that one android device or not?

Notifications per calendar would be nice. The only problem here is that there must be someone willing and able to program it that way ;). We are open for all contributions of this kind.

unfortunately I have no Android specific programming/coding skills. But I have an aim for this feature.

Maybe with a step-by-step effort we can determine what would be necessary for this aim:

So inside the etar app, there is a setting for each calendar where you can choose its display colour.
Can you add a switch there named "enable notifications for this calendar" or similar?

This could be the very first step in a git fork for this aim.

If not: why not?

Then I would think about the other nedded steps.

I'd love to have that feature! Thunderbird has a per-calendar "show reminders" setting that is very convenient to not get reminders from other people's calendars.
