Hi

Is there a way to calculate the default MOC (i.e. based on binned vertical velocity) for basins of my choice for fesom1 output? I could not find this information in the pyfesom documentation.

Thanks a lot,
Chris

For FESOM2, you should use xmoc_data. Have a look here: https://github.com/FESOM/pyfesom2/blob/a4509589d262cf956340781e34c3833de1136a02/pyfesom2/diagnostics.py#L353

There is a slim chance that it "might just work" for FESOM 1 if you have level-wise output.
