The my courses button doesn't generate a dropdown, because it contains no content. Displays no error message, offers you no way to fix the problem from this page

There is text that says "Join it now." but it is not hooked up

If a user is not in any courses, display a prompt to add courses, or show the add-courses lightbox with an extra message
