To make ajaxuploader work, checkout the refactor branch of the django-ajax-uploader into the src directory.

cd ./src
sudo chown USER:USER -R ./*
cd ajaxuploader
git fetch
git checkout -b refactor origin/refactor

be sure to merge with master branch at the same time refactor merges into master
