I would like to deploy my Gcloud image to gke, at a minimum, it would build a docker image for me.

In a perfect world, it would convert my app.yaml (or appengine-web.xml / web.xml) to the appropriate paths for GKE.

What are appropriate paths? Can you write a proposal of what you want?
