I saw that one library but haven't thought much further than that.

After some initial (5 mins) investigation, the above library only unit tests functions, and does not unit test modules, which make up the bulk of JointSCAD.

Once I've resolved teething issues, I'll be looking into using https://github.com/HopefulLlama/UnitTestSCAD
