Issue

HL7 JAN2024 Ballot Comment: OTHER-2777 "Distinguish between two reference sections".

Resolution includes: How is section 1:B.3.2 different from 1:B.1? It seems much of the same content is listed in both. Clarify the distinction and rationalize the lists.

Proposed Change

When the SDPi editors collected useful information into the 1:B.3 Bibliography section, they considered simply putting everything into a single list; however, there was value in separating out the items into some sort of a classification to help readers understand what was being presented. The current 3-part organization was a first attempt at such an organization, with the understanding that it may be changed in the future if a better approach is found.

The current organization, namely "Media" (e.g., a graphic, or info graphics), "Standards & Publications" (i.e., more formal, published documents), and "Presentations" (e.g., slide decks used in conferences or meetings) is fairly self explanatory.

A simple note to the above rational can be added to the section introduction.
