Hi All,

I've just got back from a trip to the Met Office Informatics lab.

While there I wrote my first Intake driver. What is intake I hear you ask? https://intake.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ its all about simplifying the loading of data.

Another tool that I came across was: PaperMill it allows you to pass parameters to your notebooks. https://papermill.readthedocs.io/en/latest/

I've crossed these two ideas to form intake catalogues of executable notebooks. I'd like to demonstrate the concept and get some feedback from you.

See you tomorrow!

Hi all,
our booking for the oceanworks space was cancelled so we have been relocated to the Board Room on Floor 5 of the IOMRC building (just near the front elevator). See you there at 12.
