wishlist: Debian packaging

I was referred to icy as for tracking animal behavior (http://neurostars.org/p/2726/#2727) and as a (Neuro)Debian fella thought immediately that it would have been cool if it was available in the distribution. Unfortunately I can't taken the burden myself atm to package it, so I have just filed an RFP (request for packaging) https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=771081 . But thought may be any of icy developers/contributors would like to work on that ;)
I could then mentor/provide builds through the NeuroDebian repository.
