Per discussion in https://discourse.julialang.org/t/relative-performance-discrepancy-across-cpus-even-with-cpu-target-set/27503 and the linked issue, some benchmark implementations have significantly different performance characteristics on the Intel core2 cpu that the benchmarks are run on compared to modern processors. Ideally, it would be nice if I had a core2 cpu to test things on.

I'll poke about on Craigslist/ebay. I can probably justify spending $20 on this.
