SmartReader is slow for many features

For many features method extractScenarios in class SmartReader is very slow.
This slow method is execute for every step if think.

Rule of thumb: stop using smart steps. Sorry, I don't have any advice to provide you. We've already discussed smart steps deprecation and it'll happen soon.

I do not use them. I use only api context.
How can I disable this smarts steps?
