feature-request: Support Tracing PDK APIs

As a plugin developer, I would like the performance data around operation time, errors, and any other attributes to be consumable by users of my plugin. Ideally, I could emit this data as spans with PDK and have it 'just work' if the Kong user has setup tracing support already.

Thanks for advising. We think it's a good idea. But the tracing PDK is not ready and changes may happen, thus this is deprioritized.

Is the Lua tracing PDK considered stable?

I am in the process of labeling enhancements and bugs; we will work on bugs first, and PM will evaluate the enhancement requests and consider them for future releases! Thanks for the request.
