Enhancement: automatically extract and reinsert gems when swapping to newer gear

Every time I swap a piece of gear, I have to extra and add the gems for that gear. Would make swapping to better gear so much faster if it would automatically take the gems for "In Bag Item" and apply them to the gear that was added, at least as an option.

Unfortunately this is not possible as the required functionality for this feature is not accessible via the World of Warcraft API.

It is possible but at least requires one click if in multiple pieces then multiple clicks

Pretty much similar to how the addon works currenty when you scrap the item.

I know if you scrap the items it will automatically remove the gems (it didn't when Remix first came out). My problem is always remembering the gems that I want equipped. When everything gets removed, I am struggling to remember which ones I want equipped.
