base options defined in "pino" not merged into metadata

Instructions for Vercel specify the "base" options. These are not transmitted to logflare.

Make sure they're not returning a null value. Logflare doesn't ingest null key values, and we'll strip them from the payload which is probably what you're seeing. Try setting it up with just a text string there. At one point that worked for me but maybe Vercel changed some env variables.

Thanks for getting back. The values aren't null, I was able to export logger.child() and essentially get the correct behaviour.
