If one uses more characters than the server's permitted post length (e.g. of 500 per post on mastodon.social) the excess characters are being marked in read and prohibit immediate posting.
However, if one copies the excess part, postes the first part and tries to draft a second message (an answer to the previous one), the "excess" marking and information is still embedded in the text (and sometimes prohibits the posting).
To reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Draft message via the bottom button.
Draft message with excess characters.
Copy at least excess part and paste in newly drafted message.
Problem occurs.
