Both bounties exist in the virtual and in-person hackathons for a total prize pool of $25,000.

Best Key Management Snap ($10,000)

Snaps allows safely expanding the capabilities of MetaMask at runtime. A “snap” is a JavaScript program that runs in an isolated environment inside MetaMask that can customize the wallet experience in some way.

For this bounty, we are looking for the best key management snap. Your snap must:

• run in MetaMask Flask.
• meaningfully use keys generated using the snap_getBip44Entropy_* permission.
• enable a use case that's impossible in production MetaMask.

Most Creative Snap ($2,500)

Snaps allows safely expanding the capabilities of MetaMask at runtime. A “snap” is a JavaScript program that runs in an isolated environment inside MetaMask that can customize the wallet experience in some way.

For this bounty, we are looking for the most creative snap. It doesn’t really matter what it does, so long as it’s cool. Your snap must:

• run in MetaMask Flask.
• meaningfully use keys generated using the snap_getBip44Entropy_* permission.
• enable a use case that's impossible in production MetaMask.
