VEDA backend already implemented 'render' extension. ex. https://staging-stac.delta-backend.com/collections/no2-monthly (Look for renders attribute)

This can effectively replace sourceParams attribute from the dataset configuration, saving editors efforts and increasing the consistency of the dataset throughout the platforms.

@hanbyul-here @dzole0311 @snmln will this impact our colormap/rescale values configuration feature? Thinking about #1130 and #1304 , will those implementations become more straightforward if we start using the render extension?

I don't appear to have access to the staging link @hanbyul-here provided in her post.

@snmln the VEDA urls have been updated! No more delta-backend

The renders metadata are more complete in production: https://openveda.cloud/api/stac/collections/no2-monthly

And that original link is now accessible here: http://staging.openveda.cloud/api/stac/collections/no2-monthly
