We now receive duplicate headlines for "publication information" from the render API, our sent data didn't change.
Is this already a known issue?

Thanks for your question. Yes this is a known issue and it will be fixed in the next release of the eForms SDK (1.13), and then subsequently applied to previous SDK versions.
