With the new option of Ice Arrows gaining Blue Fire properties, I thought allowing the Fire and Ice arrows to damage Koume and Kotake respectively could be a neat addition that makes them (Ice arrows especially) more useful.

This was proposed and POC'd in the past, and subsequentially rejected.

I strongly doubt opinions have changed significantly in that regard

It would make the first half of the battle a lot easier. It's so annoying because "Z-targeting" can make it almost impossible to hit the other witch and not locking on is still hard enough because the opposite witch must be nearby when the fire/ice is projected at Link. You could waste as much as 5 minutes trying to hit the other witch and not land a hit on her. The last time it took me almost 7-8 minutes, just to reach the second half of the battle. I would go like 2-3 rounds of not hitting the other witch.
