Currently there are some direct inks to issue templates on the github and the support pages to encourage people to contribute to OpenBoard. By this, the user however bypasses the issue list and has no incentive to search existing issues first. I think the recent question about pasting and probably some of the false positive issues are caused by this.
I therefore propose to explicitly mention that the user should first search for an existing open or closed issue, e.g. by linking to https://github.com/OpenBoard-org/OpenBoard/issues?q=is%3Aissue. Then tell them that they can open a new issue if they don't find an answer there.
