We are enthusiastically working on releasing Simple, a new (differentiable) physical engine for robotics and beyond.
You can follow this issue to be updated when Simple will be fully released.

Lesson taught: never give tangible time frames in pre-announcements on the internet :-)

The code associated with Simple will be released as open-source in the next few weeks

Hi Justin,

nothing bad really. It's just that most people do not expect 4+ months when an announcement states the next few weeks.
I gave similar timelines in the past and often end up delaying them over and over again. So my personal consequence is not to write down expected future events with any kind of timeline anymore (unless it's contracted).

Looking forward to the release. Simple looks really interesting. 👍
