Transfer table as an alternative to turntables

You could consider adding a transfer table where vehicles can be moved to the right or left along a line.

Applications of the suggestion
This would be a space-saving alternative because you only need space to the left and right and not in a radius.

Locomotion, Create mod any mod that adds moving blocks you just have to move it 1 block at a time for model to update

it would still very beneficial if this was just part of the base mod. and far less buggy if it was just an actual feature.
the main problem is defining width. but you could potentially use the golden spike and the behaviour of selecting two opposite corners to generate it. as the direction of the track would be set when initially setting the blueprint.
