Since now AIR is now Again on Linux, would be great if BoscaCeoil was updated so it worked!

Oh, interesting - I wasn't aware that there was a new version of AIR on Linux! Have you tried the existing .air file out?

I unfortunately can't get the Old AIR version for BoscaCeoil 2.0 since the link on the guide is broken and redirects to the the future of AIR Blog Post

Oh, I just meant this: http://www.boscaceoil.net/downloads/boscaceoil_v2.air

Does this work on the new AIR Linux runtime?

They don't have a New Runtime
They have a New SDK so you can package the app with it for distribution, it's weird that that's how it works but it is.

https://airsdk.harman.com/runtime

So it requires to be ran by the SDK like trough adl, and I also can't test that because it seems I require a license?

Ah, I see - looks like they have a free tier which inserts a splash screen. I'll investigate if I can get this to compile at some future point.

Ok, thanks!
I remember trying it and the free tier working on Android and not for Linux tough, might be misremembering

It's been 5 months, any updates on this?

I'm persueing the haxe direction at the moment, so haven't tried this. This seems like a temporary patch to a long term problem, which is that Bosca needs to change library in order to have a future

Good to know!
Tough I'm sure it's a lot of work getting the AS3 to Haxe even after using as3hx so I just wish you the best of luck on converting Bosca to Haxe!
