We need to generate a DOI for this repository. I've used Zenodo for another project and it works fairly well (as long as the release tags are numeric). Zendo can automatically generate a DOI for each release.

Proposed Course of Action:

  1. Finish the revision history for California
  2. Create a release
  3. Set up Zenodo on that release

I released version 1.0 yesterday. I'm waiting on guidance for how DataLab wants to mint the DOI, whether we want to use Zenodo or something else, and if I should use my account or we want to make a general DataLab account.
