Updates in Version 0.5.1 & 5.2

  • A rudimentary plugin api is now in place
  • Nanoleaf Light Panel support has been added through the plugin interface. You can now the scene of you nanoleaf light panel when changing the music.
  • Only the local sounds are supported through the gui for the the lights panels as of now. Spotify playlists will be supported in the future.
  • Editing sounds is now possible.
  • Plugin Metadata can now be removed on the Edit Screen
  • A Splashscreen for startup was added due longer load times

Enabling Nanoleaf light Panels

  1. To enable the light panels, make sure they are powered and within the same network as your pc.
  2. Go to the Options Tab and enable the Nanoleaf Plugin. scroll down:
    Enable
  3. Follow the instructions on screen.

Adding Light Panel Scenes to existing Sounds

  1. Press the "E" on the sound icon in the "Sounds" Tab:
    Edit Sound
  2. Select the Lights Panel Plugin in the "Plugin Metadata" Section:
    Add Metadata
  3. Select the desired Scene
    Add Metadata
  4. Press ok, all soundboards with that sound will be updated.

ESD Soundboard App

This App provides a simple Soundboard for the Elgato Stream Deck (ESD from now on).

It is written in Java and comes prepackaged with the openjdk 10.

With this release you can Manage your Sounds and Soundboards.

Updates in Version 0.4.1 & 0.4.2

  • Spotify can now be integrated into the Soundboard
  • As of now only spotify playlists are supported
  • Spotify device can now be selected, the selection will be saved for future usage.

Managing sounds

In the Sound menu you can manage all sounds added to the App. Removal of sounds is not implemented yet:

To add sounds, press the "+" button beneath the Field with the sounds.

Add a sound

Here you can add a new sound to your soundboard library. After clicking on "Ok" the sound will be copied into a subfolder of this app. When choosing a mp3 file that contains a cover, the cover will be set as an icon. The icon can be changed by pressing "Open" beneath it.

You can choose if its an ambience sound or an effect sound. Tags a separated by a space character. The name sound only contain the characters a-z, A-Z, _, -. Th icon besides the name indicates if the name is already taken or not.

List of Soundboards and the SoftStreamDeck:

Frontend

Here you can edit you soundboards by clicking on existing eintries or add a new one by clicking on "+".

New Soundboard

Here you can name/rename your soundboard and add/remove themes contained by it. Adding a theme can be done by clicking on the "+" above the Theme Field:

Here you can add Ambience and Effect sounds. Both types will be displayed seperatly on the ESD and ambience sounds will be repeated, while effects will be played once. Effects cannot be stopped, ambience sounds on the other hand can be stopped and started.

If you have spotify support enabled, your spotify playlist will show up in the drop down fields and cam be filtered by the tag "Spotify".

Both dropdown menus for ambience and effect sounds can be filtered by typing in them. The sounds will be filtered by name and by tags.

With this you can use the "Elgato Stream Deck" (ESD from now on) as a sound board. Even if you have no ESD, you can use the software implementation to have an 5 x 3 key sound board with icon support.

Basic support for managing Soundboards and categories. GUI still needs to be worked on.

The currently playing sound will now be dispalyed on the start/stop button on the bottom left.
