Window switch button mapped to X on controller by default with no way to change it. #6

For whatever reason, the button to switch windows is mapped to the X button on the controller, and it cannot be remapped.

Therefore any time I press the X button (like say to swing the sword, if you want the n64 accurate layout), a "switch window" prompt appears covering the middle of the screen.

Why is there a switch window button in the first place when you can navigate menus with any android touch screen?

Why the second most common to press button on a controller selected for this extraneous button and not say the left bumper which isn't even used for a proper n64 mapping?

Why is there no option to change the mapping for the menus?

I have noticed that this was mentioned as fixed in build 1.01, and after trying out build 1.01 the problem is no longer present.

It is only affecting build 1.02.
