Would it be possible to integrate a setting to swap between offhand and mainhand when fishing?

Example:
Cast with rod in slot 1
Swap offhand and mainhand
Reel in with rod that was in offhand (now in mainhand)
Swap offhand and mainhand
Cast again with the rod that was originally in slot 1

Or some combination similar to that. Switching between slot 1 and 2 or something configurable?
