Is this project still alive?

Hi,

I'm thinking about using this library, but it seems that this project is kind of dead. The are open PR from November 2022 and a lot of open issues.

Would love to hear about the current status of the project.

That is a good question. I just started using it as well and someone mentioned its been 2 years since its seen an update.

@altmann doesn't seem to have any activity on Github since Feb 2023, hope he's ok. Maybe someone needs to fork and create a new project?

Hi,

the good news are that I'am okay. I became a dad last june and we plan and build currently our house in austria. So lot of stuff is happening and I postpone the maintainance of this library from week to week and month to month. Sorry for that and sorry for the instransparent communication.

I think in the second quarter of 2024 I have more time again to put my energy into this project. So FluentResults is not dead.

@mgernand If you'd like to look at an alternative, I just published LightResults today because I had the same concerns as you.

@altmann I'm glad you're still around. Your project has been a foundation for a lot of my projects. Enjoy being a parent!

Just wanted to say I absolutely love this project and have a difficult time programming with exceptions instead of results now ;).

I hope I can invest in the next weeks some time to deliver a new version of FluentResults with the fixed bugs - this next version will not contain big new features. Instead it will contains community feedback fixes.

I pushed a new version of FluentResult and FluentResult.Extensions.FluentAssertions.

If there are some other fixes which are absolutely required for your projects please let me know and link the issue here in this conversation.
