Currently namadac validator-state only reports if the validator will go into the consensus set or if it is flagged to get kicked out.

One could have an offline validator, while namadac validator-state --epoch 2412421405 reports validator is in the consensus set in epoch 2412421405. Of course the client cannot look into the far future, but I think the report could include more useful information.

  • What was the last block height the validator voted?
  • How many blocks are left until the validator gets kicked out of the consensus set if it stays offline?
  • How many blocks are left until the validator moves into the consensus set if it stays online?
  • Maybe some additional statistics like its voting power and consensus set threshold?
