I've regularly been asked if there's a way to apply a Creative Commons licence to a Scalar project.
Acknowledging that I can always set licence/copyright info in object metadata, it would be slick as heck if Scalar's template could pick up that data and use it to automatically display an attribution statement in the footer of each page (or at the "project" level, though I can see issues where the attribution might be misinterpreted as applying to content that is linked by reference and has different rights holder info).
I have done a bit of tinkering with CSS to make it happen, but have not had much success; if someone has some handy CSS snippets that can accomplish this, I'd be forever-grateful to see an example I can follow :)
