Paperless App for iOS

It says ios in the title but ios doesn't seem to be available yet. I love paperless so far. Such a great idea but I'm stuck using another iOS app for the scanning which isn't the greatest. Any ideas when this might be available. I would pay for the app if it was on Apple App Store. Someone must have a developer account that can help get this up and running?

yes, this is the right place to ask!

Indeed, the title is a bit misleading. While the app is (theoretically) compatible with iOS it is not available through the app store yet.

@rssfed23 and @qcasey have shown interest in working on it. I'm not quite sure about the progress, maybe they can talk about that here.

Are there any existing Flutter CI/CD setups we could leverage for the builds?

With Github Actions this should be easy;

The most interesting part (the code signing and upload) is left as exercise to the reader? ;)
Not sure the CD part is really in the cards anyway - but this looks like a great start.

Maybe we could get the artifacts build like that and then see if we can re-sign and upload them locally.

I would suggest to just publish the artifacts for tagged releases for now.
That would allow for people that want to help (me/others) to try the the actual publishing working.

I think the first step would be for someone to actually try whether it works and to fix (or report) any bugs that arise while testing. If you think it would be easier to test using CI-built binaries I can set that up. Otherwise, you could just build them locally and use that for testing.

It looks like it is pretty easy to setup GitHub Actions to deploy to App Store Connect.

If we could get a group of people to chip in for the $99/yr fee I would be happy to setup and manage the pipeline for iOS and get it into the App Store

Would you be able to test it on your iOS device and send a PR for the pipeline?
