👋 Hey Catalyst Community!
We've been listening to your feedback, and one thing we've heard loud and clear is that working directly in the monorepo can be easier and more efficient than using the CLI, especially when it comes to keeping your projects up-to-date and consuming integrations.
To support this workflow, we've just merged an experimental version of the developer onboarding documentation that we've been testing internally for a few weeks now. This new guide is designed to provide some guardrails and best practices for getting started directly with the monorepo. 🛠️
Check it out here: https://www.catalyst.dev/docs/monorepo
Note
The CLI method will remain a completely valid and supported starting point for the time being. We know different workflows work better for different teams, and we're excited to offer this alternative to see what you like best.
We'd love to hear your thoughts! Please comment below with your feedback, questions, or any suggestions on how we can continue to improve. Are there questions that the documentation didn't answer? Do you prefer this project structure over the project structure created by the CLI? Or do you prefer we stick with the CLI method? Your input helps us shape Catalyst into the best tool it can be for everyone. 🌟
Thanks all!
