Hello @Zelo72. I had a look at your project, and it looks interesting. Auto-updates, categories, the whole works. The big one is over 1 million entries! It looks like a cool project, and I hope your having fun setting it all up. Having said all that, I'm going to have to decline this request - at least for now. Its nothing personal, it looks like a cool project, but here are some some general guidelines that I follow when adding lists, in no particular order, and I don't feel like your list meets the general requirements yet:

  • Is it popular? There isn't a lot of value tracking all the history of a list that isn't used by many people
  • Is it large? This website and database is hosted by me using my own hardware and bandwidth. I have limited space and resources, and each list impacts that. I obviously do have large lists, but I try to avoid them.
  • It is a 'source' list? This is the most important one for me. I tend to avoid lists-of-lists unless they are really popular. Even then, there are a couple large ones that I've been thinking about removing since they use up so much space and I personally don't find them to be of good quality. I would much rather track all the original sources lists then all the downstream conglomerate lists. This idea of source-lists vs. consumer-lists was a major motivator behind creating this website and trying to understand how domains flow between lists.
  • How often does it change? Really large lists are ok if they do no change often. Big lists that change often use the most resources, so I really try to keep those limited to 'source' lists or just the really popular ones.

This are just general guidelines I follow and I hope that helps you understand this decision. Do you happen to have a self-curated list of your own that isn't a derivative of other lists?

Hi @lightswitch05,

thanks for the explanations. This is not a problem for me and I understand why you don't want to include the lists. I would probably handle it the same way, but didn't think about it beforehand.

I have a personal list that is generated from my hand maintained blacklists. That's where it all started back in the day:

Greetings,
