Hangs on Nvidia Shield K1 tablet when installed on adaptive storage

The app freezes completely at startup, sometimes crashes the tablet completely on Shield K1.

As requested I'm attaching a catlog excerpt in hope to help solving the issue.

Some system details:
NVIDIA Shield K1
Android version 6.0.1, rooted but with official Nvidia ROM and latest update
Using adaptive storage with a 64 GB card, but no issues with other apps

Update: moved the app to internal storage in marshmallow applications options. The app now starts almost immediately. So it seems to be an issue with the app being installed on the adaptive storage.
