Hi,
I'm trying to upgrade from the old jSignature version (willow systems) to the brinley version. This is to benefit from the windows surface device handling and a supported project.
I have an issue where the contents of the signature is not "clipped" when the user signs "outside" the box. It is clipped on the top part of the signature, but not the bottom part.
Imagine someone signing, they start with their finger/stylus inside the box, and then their stroke goes outside the box. jSignature works to 'clip' the top part of the signature, but not the bottom part. I'm not sure why this is, but I'm wondering if there is a way to get this issue addressed.
Here is an example:
Imagine a 'spikey' signature:
The top half of the spikes are clipped at the boundary of the signature box. This is exactly what should happen.
The bottom half of the spikes are not clipped at the boundary of the signature box. This is bad. I'd like the same behaviour as the top half.
You can see in the attached image the two small horizontal lines on the left side of the image are indicating (approximately) where the jSignature boundary box is (ignore the light green background).
jSignature works well to 'clip' on desktop devices. It is an issue on iOS and Android.
Thank you very much for your help with this.
Alex.
