Open ID2 for Google account warning message.

Tried to signin using Google accounts, I see a warning message
"Important notice: OpenID2 for Google accounts is going away on April 20, 2015.".
They say its to be migrated to Google+ login.

How and what workarounds are to be made to convert to Google+ login ?

+1 for this - the deadline is nearing so it'd be nice to know if a solution is forthcoming.

I am a great fan of the project so this shouldn't be taken as a complaint, I just need to know ahead of time if I have to do it on my own: Being a noob, I'll have to figure out where to start and how to pull it off.
