Describe the Bug
I want to write data to TimescaleDB using the pgwatch daemon, but despite following the documentation, something seems to be missing. I installed the pgwatch RPM on Red Hat using the instructions provided at pgwatch tutorial.
Steps to Reproduce
Installed pgwatch using the provided RPM package on Red Hat.
Followed the detailed steps for the config-db-based pull approach with PostgreSQL metrics storage.
Expected Behavior
The following should be available after installation:
/etc/pgwatch/sql directory and related SQL files.
The pgwatch-daemon service should be accessible and runnable.
Actual Behavior
The /etc/pgwatch/sql directory and related files are missing.
The pgwatch-daemon service is not available.
Environment
Operating System: Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Installation Method: RPM package
pgwatch Version: 3.0.0
Additional Context
It seems the RPM package might not include all necessary files or steps. Any clarification or workaround would be greatly appreciated.
