The problem

Sometimes it's needed to add hidden text elements to Websites for screenreaders. E.g. texts that are only read by screenreader but are visually hidden. You could think about integrating such elements directly to the design system to integrate conceptional accessibility during the design process. Also this could create more awareness for designers to think about accessible structure from start. For developers this would be easier to implement those elements.

@mfranzke fyi, I'd like to hear your opinion as well ;)

Hi @annsch, we are currently working on providing such screen reader text fields for the existing components (e.g. icon button, etc.)

Will be released soon for the components that are to become stable in January, the remaining components will also be gradually optimized in this respect.
