License not staying active when exiting DBSChema CLI

We have DBSchema CLI server licensing tool. When starting the license service within DBSchema CLI with "license server -s," the service stops when we exit the application. Is there a way to keep the service running? It won't keep the license alive. What are we doing wrong?
