I for sure would look more professional. But I don't think it is a real dealbreaker. As long as the repo is well maintained wherever it ends up. |
Despite the extra organizational and account complexity, which I wouldn't want either, making an org to maintain this project would substantially raise the odds of people who need it, finding it. I read the un-merged PR list at the Google branch, many people would not. |
Side note: there's no need to re-fork, if you choose to swap to an organisation, github's move repository feature works really well |
Was it a mistake to fork this under my own Github account? I could see it being better for the project if we had a new organization, like
