Prerequisite Steps

  • I have searched existing issues
  • This issue is not a duplicate of an existing one
  • I have checked the EmuDeck Wiki
  • I have read the Troubleshooting Page on the EmuDeck Wiki

What distro are you running?

SteamOS

Which SteamOS Branch are you using?

Stable

What happened?

In ES-DE when I look through the installed games I see the media directory in the Pico-8 section as first entry. And when scraping the games I noticed that also this directory is scraped. So data/scraped are produced without any sense.
In other emulators/sections I do not see the media directory.
I tried to delete the symlink and it looks like everything is fine anyway and everything works. Then I recreated it and I see it again in ES-DE. Strange...
Btw, the symlink is needed for what reason exactly? At the moment my "solution" is deleting it. At least for the pico8 directory.

@msebald the media symlink should be in every rom folder if you install Pegasus. You can remove the folder if you don't use Pegasus

@dragoonDorise thank you! It looks like I am not using Pegasus at the moment. The media folders are in every rom folder but in ES-DE this directory is only showing for Pico-8. And also it is only scraped for Pico-8. For all other roms it is ignored. How can that be? Setting, bug, user problem?
