Elaborate on the feature you would like to see added to EmuDeck.
I think it would be really cool to have an auto update feature for the emulators installed on emudeck, where the app would check what emulators you have, and then check each of their githubs for the most recent release if that's at all possible maybe by using githubs webhooks and then having the app itself run in the background and then check (in a safe manner) when there's an update and then replacing the files?

I'd much rather an auto update checker and notifier. If the plugin is automatically updating emulators in the background without the user's knowledge, the user could corrupt the emulators being updated at any time by unintentionally interrupting the update process through means of putting the PC to sleep or switching to Desktop Mode.
Ohhhhh that's true, didn't think of that, I suppose having it so it notifys you with a little box saying to update your emulators or by checking if the user is on the PC by logging in or something by starting on startup and doing it that way? Mostly spitballing at least with on a desktop platform like a steam machine or just like an ordinary PC not sure how it would work specifically with the steam deck
Having the plugin automatically check at an interval chosen by the user (like another plugin on Decky, AutoFlatpaks) and then sending a toast notification when there is one available would probably work best.
