Selecting a MIDI channel and program at boot

Hi,

I have mt32-pi running with a soundfont, and it's pretty great. It boots and I get audio out when using MIDI over USB.

However, I wish I could select a different default MIDI program at boot. Is this possible?

Would it also be possible to change the MIDI program with an USB keyboard or USB mouse?
